5 Fish Limit
The Tourney X Tournament app will automatically cull so your five biggest fish count.
The minimum length is 10 inches for all fish submissions in every KBS event.
TourneyX Tournament App
All catch submissions must be logged in the TourneyX Tournament app.
Rounding will be down to the nearest .25″ for all submissions.
The Hawg Trough
This is the only acceptable measuring device for KBS tournaments. Get yours here.
Competitors may not use bungies, stringer clips, or any other device to secure their fish to the Hawg Trough. Only the angler’s hand and/or the original lure used to hook the fish may be used to secure the fish.
No Alabama Rigs, etc.
Competitors are allowed to use only one lure at a time. Examples of prohibited lures include Alabama rigs, jigs with a dropshot tied above it, etc.
Trolling motors will NOT be allowed during any KBS events for the 2016 season, period. Trolling motors on kayaks are allowed during prefishing, but motorized boats are not.
Any Public Access
Competitors can launch from ANY public access point within event boundaries. Anglers CANNOT launch on private property, even if granted permission.
Last Upload – 3:00 PM
All KBS Opens will begin at a specific First Cast time, which will be announced at the Captain’s Meeting before each event, and will last until 3:00 PM local time. All competitors must be back at the weigh-in by 4:00 PM local time.
$20 Entry – 60/40 Split
The optional Big Bass side pot requires a $20 cash entry, payable during the Captain’s Meeting, and 100% of the pot will be paid out: 60% to the biggest bass, 40% to second biggest bass.
Competitors may not fish with or near non-competitors during tournament hours.
